Best Hand Cannons?

What are currently the best hand cannons and how do you get them? Also, which type of HC is best? 120s, 140s, 180s?

PVP and/or PVE
I mostly want it for PVP but I do PVE too

Eyasluna is the only hand cannon I use, I'm not a hand cannon fan but that's the one I feel good with in pvp.

As of now 140s are the best type. You can easily get a top tier hand cannon from the exotic kiosk, which is the ace of spades. Its amazing for pvp and decent at pve. The only downside is that it is an exotic so you cant put an icarus mod on it. Its still really good though. Some legendary hand cannons i recommend is the crisis inverted (crucible drop), cantata-57 (world drop), eyasluna (grasp of avarice dungeon), and the fatebringer (vault of glass raid) The palindrome is probably the best hand cannon in the game, but you might need to wait a few weeks for it to drop from nightfalls since they rotate weekly.

The game is all dlc, yes there is stuff you can play for free but you're pretty much limited to the world loot pool and can't access gear with specific sources.

Finite compactor from iron banner is also a decent f2p 140 handcannon.

well you need minnimum 50 fps to use handcannons in pvp that something i cant do

You should try the new Iron banner HC. It slaps hard in pvp. 180, Big mag good stats rolls.

There's not very many options, you're either gonna use Fatebringer, Palindrome, Ace of Spades, Thorn, Cantata or Igneous Hammer. All of which you want the Adept/Timelost/Catalyst versions of.

Igneous is gained through Trials of Osiris.
Ace and Thorn are exotics from Forsaken.
Cantata is apart of the current seasons world loot.
Fatebringer is from Vault of Glass raid and Palindrome I believe is the Nightfall weapon for Lake of Shadows (might be wrong on that).

Then if you prefer controller you can use The Last Word which I also believe requires Forsaken. There's other HC that might be better or even just as good as these but these are pretty much the meta of weapons.
