artifact xp question

This is my first big update i am experiencing, and I wanted to know, is the xp for the seasonal artifacts (right now the wayfinder's compass) shared between all characters? Like, if I stack up a bunch of bounties on each character and redeem them all next week, it will all add up towards the same total, right?

Yes the xp is an account total but be sure to wait until you actually have the artifact to claim the bounties.

Also, don't burn yourself out trying to do bounties before the expansion and look up a guide on what bounties to get if you do insist on doing it.
