Join code no longer working

[Brute]

Turned off cross-save so that I can use PC characters and now nobody can join my fireteam using join code.

Bungie / Steam friends can join fine but if you try with /join it wont work.

I tried Bungie help forums but no response, and they dont have anyone I can talk to, any ideas?

My question is what was the point of turning off cross-save? You play it on Playstation it's a Playstation character and so on, nothing changes other than the console you choose to play on. If anything I'd turn it back on because turning it off removes progression between all your character on your other platforms.

Yeah they do but it doesnt work just gives an error when trying to join

I wanted to move away from the xbox account I was using and I already started fresh like 5 times so now is better time than ever with WQ

Is the fireteam open for people to join? Also to be clear you say you turned cross SAVE off and not cross PLAY? If so then why? That could be screwing something up as your platform name could be different from your bungie name and the point of cross save is to have everything on one system. Why not just keep one "main" save and always use that?

Yeah I would just turn it back on, if turning it off messed it up then turning it back on should fix the issue.

Oh yeah that is a good point too I'm pretty sure you could opt out of cross-play, which would obviously mess everything up. And if the people joining are on your friends list and Brute isn't traveling somewhere then shouldn't have any problems unless the fireteam is private or closed.

How can i see if cross-play is enabled? I 100% turned off cross-save because I started from the beginning with 0 characters.

Ah theeeeen...don't use a join could just invite everyone as needed and make sure the fireteam is open to friends

Yeah im just gonna have to have people add me ig just bit annoying because join code is easier
