Best was to get strange coins?

Is there actually one or is it just random? I know I got them from doing playlist, bounties and I think public events too.
And I think finishing doe garantuees 1 coin per chest.

I mean, you get it from everywhere. Just do what you like and it's fast enough. If you want to farm it, just do DoE and bounties, so you can get bonus loot.
