Not to mention the extra slot is specifically designed to slot in Artifact Mods.
It isn't funny? Adept weapons in Grandmasters & Trials of Osiris are free for everyone to obtain. Grasp of Avarice is a Dungeon with loot that is attached to the DLC. Yes, you have to pay for it, but It's just like Shattered Throne with the Forsaken DLC & Pit of Heresy with the Shadowkeep DLC.
Also keep in mind; you can only obtain artifice armour by completing the Master version of the dungeon, which isn't easy.
Trials is locked behind owning the latest expansion, DLC Nightfalls require owning the associated DLC where applicable. The only fully free source of Adept weapons is Vault of Glass.
Pay to win would be paying 25$ and then having the game just throw extra slot armor at you.
You also still need to level it up and the energy is the same as any other armor.
This is also the first time we're seeing the armor, when Witch Queen launches they could put it every where or at least in more accessible activities.
1. So you refuse to buy that pack yet it sounds like you want the armor to be free so you can obtain it.
2. The sparrow part is actually insanely annoying in master though, wouldn't call it easy even though the dungeon is easier than other dungeons.
