And its not hot enough for Mercury? Its called the Traveler's space magic.
mercury is actually cooler than venus, due to venus's ability to stuff all the spicy air into itself, while mercury just sorta lets it out

granted its not a huge difference...

Nah Nessus is some planetoid out in the kuiper belt that has come in closer during its long orbit but was already taken over by the Vex.

Either way, space magic.

Pretty sure Nessus is supposed to be Planet X, the 9th planet in our solar system - the hidden planet scientists theorize is out there but haven't found.

Here's a whole article on it anyone's interested: https://longreads.com/2019/01/22/the-hunt-for-planet-nine/

Nessus is just a centaur. Unless they've redefined centaur in D2 it definitely isn't planet X

Oh, that's cool, too. I thought it was something the creators of Destiny invented, but turns out it's an actual thing. Astronomer's describe it as "Dark and reddish," approximately 60km in diameter, orbiting in the outer solar system beyond Saturn.

There's already 9 planets, is it not planet x meaning 10?
