What do I do with extra Ascendant Shards and Prisms?

I have already masterworked the good rolled armor - spent 8 AS in total. I know some will suggest simply masterworking random items but most of the remaining armour have poor stats.

I still have 13 AS (3 in postmaster) and 97 Prisms (47 in postmaster) left..

Any Other suggestions?

make build with exotics or just masterwork useless exotics and safe them in the vault to dismantle them later. masterwork every armor on all classes. safe them for new exotics

you could buy the legacy weapons you don´t yet have with the Ascendant Shards

No, there is no trading of any kind in D2.

keep them for next season or next expansion for leveling armour or buying from the kiosk

i also have 150 odd prisms and 24 ascendant shards in my postie.. really lame i don't know why they don't just increase the cap since players are either holding onto them or pointlessly enhancing exotics just to dismantle them for a shard.

No but there is a cap of 10 in your inventory, extras will be sent to post master at another cap of 10 so unless its near the start of another season like now then there isn't much point to hoarding them.

Step 1. Farm master lost sectors for some exotics with nice stats.
Step 2. Spend all your hard-earned mats on upgrading them.

Btw, why are you keeping armor with bad stats? If you feel like they worth using spare materials on them why keep em?

was that part of the transmog change? didn't really care about that either way.

They never required prisms or shards, masterworking ghosts was introduced in Beyond Light wasn't it and its the same materials as weapons which is just legendary shards and enhancement cores.

Infuse armor up to level 9, then dismantle to get 6 enhancement cores and 1 prism back. It ends up being a net positive for enhancement prisms.

I must be missing something because you're saying that if you invest 5 enhancement prisms into armor and then dismantle it later to get 1 prism back then its a net positive for prisms?

I currently only have 1 character. So can i theoretically increase my limit in the postmaster by creating a new character?
