What does that even mean?

Both keyboard + mouse and controller have bullet magnetism while only controller has reticle stickiness but neither aim for you.

Basically lets you use your mouse as a controller input with aim assistance.

I doubt Bungie tolerates such hardware and if they find out, OP risk their account to be banned from the game.

That's against the rules iirc assuming it even works.

It technically should. The game detect it as a controller, not a mouse.

Regardless, I'm sure any competitive game would classify that as cheating considering its tricking the game into think your input method is a different one with the intent to exploit the ability to use the assistance of one with the precision and easy of the other.

I'll rephrase this.... Does this program that emulates controller use on a better input, basically allowing me to cheat because I can't aim for ♥♥♥♥

Just.... Just learn how to aim, if you have to ask that question then you generally suck at aiming to need aim assist on the superior input

They don't even need to hack to get aim assist, the bullet magnetism with mouse is strong, a lot of the time you can see the game aim the bullets for you.

Aim Assist is only available on a controller, not for mouse.

Using a device that lets you use your mouse as a controller input to also get an aim assist can indeed be defined as cheating as well as exploiting making the game thinking you're on a controller which you don't.

If you need aim assist, use a controller instead.
