What power level is high enough for Iron Banner?

I'm at 1316~ currently because I haven't done the missions I should be doing for a while. How do I need to be in order to keep up?

it doesnt matter, it's filled with people from trials that have way better guns then you so it's just signing up to be slaughtered. Have fun.

The hawkmoon is pretty good but you'll tear your hair out trying the mission by yourself.

on some maps it's possible to run off into the void, that way it's possible to force mercy faster and get loot faster. Other then that running around with hip fire sniper rifle or a shotgun is kinda fun. Going for handcannon fights all the time gets boring after a while and just cba.

I just wanted to know what light level other people in iron banner play at so I knew what to expect/prepare for. I'm not interested in throwing matches and ruining the match for other people. You might have more fun as well if you played a different game mode instead of purposefully inconveniencing people who are trying to enjoy the game.

It does in iron banner and trials, if the level difference is too much then you could get 2 tapped.

1268 was enough to atleast participate and complete bounties. Even scored fairly well in a few matches. Could feel the power gap but it wasn't unplayable. 1316 would put you at a very solid level against most people in there.

score and performance doesnt matter, i just went sudoko/kamikaze on purpose a few games, and i get a decent god roll steady hand, steady hand hcs, ricochet, killing wind, swash, range mw. For performing like garbage.

If you weren't totally inept, you wouldn't need to throw crucible matches for free loot. It takes less than two minutes to check the video on your twitch, then read your quake live review to figure out that you're the person who dies in the exact same way every time you play, but always has a different excuse as to why.

It did not occur to you that i was curious what would happen? In a previous thread people said it was RNG only, and they were correct. Also i've never streamed this game, im still working on moving.

It's connection based match making apparently. And from then on it's just randomized luck who is on. l8 night games here are china name tags only in player list.

Make sure you are queuing in the solo queue not the fireteam queue. If you pick the solo queue the % of pre-mades you run into is a lot less at least it was yesterday.

Honestly, just play if you want to. I'm around the same light level and I just try to have fun with it. Crucible in my opinion is always broken, and only fun about half the time, so I just do whatever I feel like.

The new grenade launcher can make some random satisfying moments if you get a few frags with it in a small map like on the moon, spamming it in the hallways there. And it's indeed very much about having an attitude to just get the loot. It's all very broken, but it is what is.
I run with War mantis, and the game keeps giving me iron banner gauntlets, and nothing can beat a regular blue rate item yet. That's broken in and of itself.
