The light vault thing, or buying season 13 and getting the quest.

To get the gun, you start the Arms Dealer strike and instead of hacking the console in the first room, looking for a new door that's opened. You'll find a bunch of turrets and a side boss. Kill the boss and you get an item. Talk to Zavala after that.

The quest is still active, I've done it recently in fact since I hadn't gotten it before.

How is it different than literally any other season? If you want something you buy it, its not an all access subscription pass. At least now people still have the option to play the content all year long as opposed to last year.

You can solo the Pressage quest for it if your power level is high enough, youll need a high damage rocket launcher and run a solar build (The enemies take extra damage from solar).

If you have friends or a firee team you can run it with them ..not sure what this friends thing is but Im sure others can tell you XD.

Maybe you could ne taken to the mission, I don´t know it, but you wouldn´t get the weapon because you need the quest to obtain it.
