My first run was only about 14 minutes, a couple of really stupid deaths included. I didn't think it was any harder than one of the exo challenges TBH. A pretty chill solo.

First time took me 15 minutes, next took me just under 10 minutes. It's not hard the path to take is pretty straight forward.

Last boss fight took me nearly an hour to do

Given the stats, they're most likely a new player.

If OP is still reading this thread, refer back to my earlier post. The light level recommendation for Expunge is 1290. You don't exactly have to match or exceed that level, I was able to get it done under 10 minutes while 5-10 light below.

I can see Override being done because of matchmaking. One person barely able to score many kills due to being vastly underpowered will not prevent the entire team from completing it.

I guess the first mission doesn't have a high requirement due to every one being pushed into it at the launch of the season but still, by the third override mission op should have figured out they are too low of a level.

Right tools for the right job.

Have a long range solution for taking out the Vex snipers which annoy you while doing the jumping puzzles. Sniper is probably best here (i'll stay away from suggesting exotics.)

Bring a weapon for taking out the champion. Was that a shield champion? So either scout rifle or Auto Rifle (make sure those mods are unlocked on your artifact and slotted into your arms mods.)

The final boss is not bad and does not even do a lot of damage. The puzzle for making him vulnerable takes more time than actually killing him does. Your choice of heavy weapon here.
