Destiny 1 PC port
Why the hell haven't we gotten a PC port for Destiny 1? I mean true the game's no longer being updated, but ever since Sony decided to act like the corporate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they are and made it to where you need a PSN just to be able to get into Destiny 1 on PS4, I can't play it, and it pisses me off. True i could just play on XBOX but I don't own one. Plus I would love to see it on PC honestly, since I play almost completely on PC now. Really hope dmg or someone from bungie sees this

idk if it was either Sony or Bungie that made it to where you need a PSN to even be able to sign into Destiny 1 but still

We have it it all ported in D2 now.
Exotics, Legendaries, Strikes, Crucible Maps, Assets :)

it's probably not worth focusing on porting d1 to pc, specially since d1 is pretty much very slowly being reintegrated into d2, hopefully next year when they finish expanding the offices they can do something like that, but it probably won't happen

I'm told that the best way to get Bungie's attention is redit.
They have their own forum but I was told even that is not as likely to get their attention.
I never played D1, because I didn't/don't want a console.

D2 is pretty much D1 ported since most of the content is straight up from D1 even though there are things in D1 that aren't in D2.

you do realize that thats only a fraction of the stuff from d1 that we have in D2 right? we dont have dreadnaught. We dont have reef (dreaming city dont count), we technically have venus but thats only for the raid, we dont have nearly as much crucible maps in d2 as in d1, so...... yea

It would be cool to have D1 on pc, never played it but I would have liked to play through the story since it is in tact and hasn't been sunset.

Now if only we could get D1's enemy variety...

And some good looking destinations. It's kind of just the Dreaming City right now.

I love how the community straight up never mentions story lol

I would pay full price for a D1 port on PC. But the chances of getting a port is nearly zero.

I think its more likely we will see some more D1 stuff being added to D2 in time. It would be really awesome to play through all the D1 campaigns and story missions in D2, but I doubt it will happen.

I don't think a full port would do well these days but a stripped down single player version with the campaign and patrol zones would be good.

the D1 Vanilla campaign was actually awful, the expansions like Taken King and Rise of Iron were better but were really short and half the campaign steps were just going back to the tower/felwinters peak etc over and over. there is absolutely no benefit to bringing back the campaigns. the current system of bringing back a strike or raid every now and then is fine.

the resources they would need to port everything over would be better spent on making new content for D2. if you want to play D1 it's still all there on PS4/Xbox
Something to keep in mind with D1, it wasn't just an Activision Bungie game but Sony also helped pay for dev on it. So chances are due to legal reasons, contracts and the like, Bungie can't port the whole game to PC. The original contract probably states PlayStation and Xbox only, while mentioning the original PlayStation Exclusive Content(Exotics, Armor, PvP Maps, Strikes). As much as I would love to play it again on PC, and have friends experience it for the first time, it is not likely going to happen. The best we can hope for is for Bungie to bring stuff from D1 into D2, and I would rather them focus on new content, than wasting dev resources on remaking or porting old content.
