Solstice Armor is pretty bad

So i dont know about the rest of you but I've spent 3-4 very sleepless days grinding out this armor to get it to glow and I am utterly underwelmed by how lack luster, trash and just general poop it is.

I went this far;

Values are calculated before mods and master works (no exotic comparisons)

So I spent 3-4days grinding armor that is by far worse then what I currently have for what? A cosmetic Item that honestly isn't that stellar.

Not to mention you can Unlock them with Armor Synth to begin with... so ummm whats the point of this?

Is this just another Game Play loop to add grind to a game that doesn't need it. It needs more cool and powerful things.

Lol you need to farm and open that chests to get higher rolls. You cant exptect the basic armor to be any good.

Once you unlock the final sets on your characters, you can then grind out higher rolled armor from the Solstice Packages. Considering that the armor becomes significantly faster on other characters after completing it on just one, it shouldn't take long to finish all 3 sets then jump into the EAZ to grind out the armor.

well you did it...i cant even free roam (only managed to finished objective for the helmet-still in rare ) cant go to EAZ , cant strike, cant expunge not able to do any activity due to the constant weasel, chicken, etch. Perhaps turn them into ornament.

Were you super inefficient and doing each step by step and not paying attention to what was needed overall like not using the proper elements to collect the orbs you needed or doing the wrong activities like doing 10 tier 1 blind wells? It doesn't even have pvp requirements aside from the 30 tag credit in any pvp mode. Took me like maybe 8 hours for the first set and even that was very inefficient.

Either way turn the white armor glows into ornaments or buy the eververse elemental glows or farm for high stat rolls once you get the white armor glows dropped armor will be 60+ stats.

And if you want to complete the sets on other characters then completing the first character will double progress for the second character and then doing that will triple progress for the third character and apparently completing the final white glow step on one character unlocks it for all.

The event lasts for a entire month, you don't have to rush 3/4 days without sleep.

The glow isn't anything to write home about, but the base legendary armor looks pretty dapper. I'm really liking how the set without glow looks on my Warlock. Hopefully the non-glow version is something I can turn into ornaments.
