The most nostalgic weapon considered by many to be infamously overpowered in D1 can simply just be bought as a RMT soon. Because what's the point of actually playing the game for loot when you can just buy it right away?

This is just repulsive and scummy on so many levels.

Edit: Thanks for the sarcastic Steam awards! Sorry you can't handle the hard truth that this game is bad!

The same thing happened in destiny 1 and not many people complained, you had to buy rise of iron and I think with anti-cheat this game is going to be immensely better to play. The fact that there is a queue of over 26,000 players waiting to get in shows how dedicated bungie is to making the game better and I think that a $25 expansion is worth it to many destiny players.

I actually have zero problem with anti-cheat. Considering they've reworked Trials many times now trying to combat cheating. it's about time they just implemented that.

But nah, this is actually just greed taking over. D1 wasn't really always like this either. Micro-transactions were pretty liminal aside from the DLC, no season passes to pressure people into constantly playing to keep up.

You're right. People have been and thought it was fine then with how relatively new the idea for season passes were. And now they don't even have to be subtle about it anymore. It's literally just conditioning.

The difference is that they don't care anymore, and know they can get away with milking their playerbase dry at this point with whatever they decide is going to be a RMT.

Servers are still up, while you still can. PC Port would be awesome though.
