Ammo bricks not dropping in Astral Alignment

I keep running low on green and purple ammo in Astral Alignment.

I played two rounds back to back to check:
The first round I was always low on green ammo and had one purple drop at the end of the boss fight.
The second round I saw a reasonable number of green bricks and zero purples.

Am I just getting insane RNG issues or is there a problem with ammo drops?

You should use ammo drop mods for specific weapon. It can be equiped in the leg armor slot

Ammo finder mod for helmet and ammo scavenger for legs, I got plenty of heavy ammo during my matches.

There is also a rally point at the start of each encounter to max out your ammo and ability energy.

I know how the mods work.

I'm saying that I killed 180 enemies and not one single purple dropped. The other game I did about the same and almost no greens dropped. This can't be working as intended.

How did you kill 180 enemies, were you stuck in a broken match and just farming kills?

Just use the 3 rally points to refill your ammo if rng hates you.

There are 3 phases and the third is an endless spawn of low tier redbars. With Witherhoard and hunter stasis you can rack up dozens of kills very quickly.

I didn't ask how to get ammo, I asked if anyone else has noticed this. Because - like I said - this can't be working as intended.

I imagine that time is taken into account for ammo drops, they don't want you to sit there farming mobs with heavy/special weapons. But no to answer your question, I had no issue farming rocket launcher kills with random ammo bricks over the course of 3 matches.
