Is there a way to turn of the absolute GARBAGE tutorial popups?

I've been playing for over 5 hours and they still won't leave the ♥♥♥♥ alone.

Bungie doesn't seem to know the difference between not knowing how to do something and not WANTING to do something. I don't want to stop what i'm doing every 5 minuets to figure out what the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game wants to tell me so the ENORMOUS, deeply annoying popup that covers the bottom sixth of my screen with go the ♥♥♥♥ away.

Is there a way to turn these off?

Sadly no, That's how advertising works, constant bombardment on ads to buy the items. With such frequency, they really want you to buy. I have completed the initial content in 8hrs, all that is left bounties and strikes. Tho still enjoyable, but won't last long for me.

Constant bombardment on ads? There is like one pop up per new exotic weapon saying that the ornaments are now for sale other than that there aren't pop up ads.

in gameplay you can turn off some hints.
for new players thuis might be the bungie help method.
it will go away once you have finished the main character setup

ads? i'm talking about the tutorial garbage that pops up at the bottom of the screen, constantly interrupting the game

You could just do whatever it asks of u and then it'll go away. Simple solution

oh my god, why didn't i think of that? all this time and it never occurred to me to do what the annoying popup tutorial was telling me. and here i was doing a sacred dance to try to make it go away

Ever get this sorted out? Really tired of this crap keeping me from seeing my full HUD just because I don't want to track some side quest at the moment. Yes, track it for a second makes it go away, but as soon as I stop tracking it the damn thing comes back. This is piss poor design on Bungee's part if this is the way it is supposed to work.

I assume you are still near the start? If so, stop trying to fight it teaching you. Go along with what it says and it goes away, you probably just have to do that quest or something. Once you are out of the tutorial, such things become much less common.
