I have sunshot in my energy slot but I have no idea what to put in the kinetic slot

Depends on what you're doing. I pair energy primaries with MT or a shotgun most of the time, as I also don't like snipers.

I'm doing warlock purely guns and almost never use the grenade or melee but I do use supper and rift.

MT?

which shotgun would u recommend and perks?

MT is Mountaintop.

Shotguns and perks, it depends on what you're doing. PvE is stuff like Trench Barrel and 1-2 Punch, PvP is stuff like Opening Shot, Quickdraw and other consistency perks.

Mountaintop, if you don't like snipers then there isn't much else to put in the kinetic slots for special ammo since there is no kinetic fusion rifle. There are plenty of shot guns but those aren't great for bosses since they can stomp.
