Falling Guillotine (Sword)
Hey guys.

I've got two versions of this sword in my inventory and am not sure which one to masterwork.

They've rolled with the following stats...

Guillotine 1 = Hungry Edge, Jagged Edge, Enduring Blade /
Enduring Guard, Swordmasters Guard / Tireless Blade + Whirlwind Blade.

Guillotine 2 = Hungry Edge, Honed Edge, Jagged Edge /
Balanced Guard, Swordmaster's Guard / Relentless Strike + Whirlwind Blade.

Both have Impact Masterwork

2nd one

The first one might as well be trash compared to the second one.

Yep.

Make sure to equip jagged edge and swordmaster's guard for max DPS

I guess I should have explained a little, relentless strikes gives you ammo back while hitting a boss or trash if you hit enough fast enough.

Thanks guys.

You all say the second one, is the first one just trash then ?

I was testing both in a quick lost sector.

I find both to be quite nice. The one with tireless blade i can whirl around getting + 2 ammo every second kill. I was never running out it seemed.

The one with relentless strike was nice against the lost sector boss but he dies too fast to get a picture of how good that perk is. would need to go into strikes or nightfall i guess.

I was being a little facetious but the first one does give ammo for every 2nd kill you get but most people would take the second one because that sword is a boss killer so it makes sense to take the perk that gives you ammo after a number of hits because that works against a single target like a boss and if you're limited on ammo then you won't be using it on trash anyway.

Yeah, defo a fair point. Was in a nightfall just now and useing the one with relentless strike against bosses vs tireless blade is a obvious one.

I did however masterwork both, i'll mix and swap between them depending on the situation. Could be a thing in the future, who knows ;)

Luck : 100 . Best I've managed to get so far is a jagged edge with swordmaster's guard , energy transfer(utter ♥♥♥♥) and whirlwind

All you need is Tireless Blade or Relentless Strikes and Whirlwind Blade all day. I have Tempered Edge, Swordmasters Guard, Relentless Strikes and Whirlwind Blade with Backup Mag and Masterworked for Impact. I prefer this sword over Lament, because it is not an exotic. It does just as good and takes 2 or 3 more strikes to get the job done.
