Ive used the new shotgun to get rapid precision kills and it didn't work so far. (believe Online says shotguns are power weapons)

Power weapons are the ones on the 3rd slot

I would use a lmg or a sniper

power weapons is on your third slot. that being said im pretty sure if you reload the rapid kill reset. atleast that what i do, try to use something like an AR or anything thats easy to rapidly kill

They haven't been power weapons for years, you're going to need a machine gun or linear fusion rifle.

I have used DARCI power sniper and it counted ok to 7/25 and stopped. I am doing exactly the same thing as I did for the first 7 kills but crap quest seems to be bugged. Maybe to open a ticket ... hey, Bungie doesn't have customer support :-D, maybe I will ask Bungie on the help forum ... hey Bungie never responds, only other players sometimes do but can't do much :-D.

Shotguns used to be power weapons before Forsaken. You need to use weapons on the third slot.
