Whats the point of ornaments if transmog..

Isn't transmog coming? What is the point of buying armor ornaments if we can just transmog our ♥♥♥♥.. Or am i missing something

We don't know anything about how transmog will work, so it still makes sense to buy armor ornaments.

they will probably cost 1500 silver or 6000 bright dust per item...or at least somewhere close to 5/2000. 100% gonna be a grind for.

Depending on how the system works, there is always this. Like, plenty of MMOs have outfits and other cosmetic items that are only premium alongside their regular cosmetic stuff and it has worked fine for years, why is this any different?

My example tho is the solstice armor set, surely if i own the set i shouldnt have to buy the bright dust/silver version just to have the ability to transmog/apply the ornament?

The Eververse set is for the elemental glows. We'll be able to transmog the white glow down the line (Do agree it should've unlocked for free)

I highly doubt it will be what people think it will be, it will probably just be some sorta ultra expensive way to turn armor into ornaments. Given their f2p model so far, I'm sure the "free" path will be extremely limited (weekly timers for specific pieces, cost as much bright dust that you can only grind within a month etc)and they will charge the typical 15 dollars that 95% of us will never pay for.

The Eververse ornaments are usable on any purple armor. You can look like the Solstice armor with colored glow but equip all of your best pieces instead of grinding perfect Solstice ones.

Because ornaments are more skins? Maybe I'm not understanding the question but ornaments aren't changing, they will continue to be skins, transmog is just giving us the option to possibly turn other armor into ornaments but it'll probably be a grind, not not going to be able turn all your armor into skins.
