Bungie is ruining D2 and what the DCV looks like is awful.
  • You literally somehow managed to mess up a game that was decent to play and now is horrible.
  • CBMM was never implemented and you lied about it.
  • Games are completely 1 sided.
  • Cheaters have ruined comp and trials which force all the sweats into quickplay which make some players afk them; literally had an entire team of afk players in my last match.
  • Your servers are horrible, more disconnects then ever before.
  • Elo Based Match Making is worse than SBMM. Change it back, literally unplayable to have to try to carry 5 blueberries and then get farmed by people who just run as a pack.
  • Your latest event is a cut and paste with LESS CONTENT than last year.
  • PvE is more dry then it has been forever, the same 3 missions over and over and over.
  • Raids have no use besides a pinnacle, no reason to farm weapons that aren't good.
  • Pinnacle rewards not working from the weekly mission.
  • Prophecy dungeon not dropping pinnacle loot.
  • Sunsetting weapons and armor makes no sense. You create a problem for RETURNING players, if they'll be any.
  • No more content that stays, new season stuff is stupid.
  • Removing 1/2 of the game, New light will be worse than it already is.
  • No reason to return to Levi raids except the catalysts that are LOCKED behind the failed prestige raids.
  • Overall horrible seasonal events.
Just to name a few.

I swear if this "seasonal" stuff keeps up Destiny is going to die. There is NOTHING missed if you didn't play this last year, NOTHING, and every day, more bugs, more exploits, more disappointment.

When Beyond Light launches if it is a short story, bounty grinding that was Shadowkeep that'd'll be the final nail in the coffin.

Edit: Oh the Twab was published a little bit ago. Now bungie has officially made it clear they don't care about fun gamemodes.
  • Rumble
  • Clash
  • Control
  • Iron Banner Control
  • Elimination
  • Trials of Osiris
  • Showdown
  • Survival
  • Mayhem Clash
These are that are staying in the game, and these are the ones that are being removed.
  • Supremacy
  • Countdown
  • Lockdown
  • Breakthrough
  • Doubles
  • Momentum Control*
  • Scorched*
{ Note: Expect Momentum Control and Scorched to return from the DCV at some time during Year 4}
Literally no reason to play PvP now.

{In case it’s not clear from the note above, the Trials of Osiris experience is not impacted by other content moving into the DCV this year. The Lighthouse will continue to be available to those who are able to complete a Flawless passage. }

Oh and they removed most non-trials and non-comp maps!
  • Meltdown
  • Solitude
  • Retribution
  • The Citadel
  • Emperor’s Respite
  • Equinox
  • Eternity
  • Firebase Echo
  • Gambler’s Ruin
  • Legion’s Gulch
  • Vostok
How Fun!

You also can't get these exotics past Nov 10th
  • Sturm
  • MIDA Multi-tool
  • Rat King
  • Legend of Acrius
  • Sleeper Simulant
  • Polaris Lance
  • Worldline Zero
  • Ace of Spades
  • The Last Word
  • Le Monarque
  • Jotunn
  • Izanagi's Burden
  • Thorn
  • Lumina
  • Truth
And their respective catalysts
[/list]
  • Bad Juju
  • The Huckleberry
  • Izanagi's Burden
  • Legend of Acrius
  • Polaris Lance
  • Skyburner's Oath
  • Sleeper Simulant*
  • Telesto*
  • Outbreak Perfected*
  • Whisper of the Worm*
  • Worldline Zero*
  • Bad Juju

lol, talk about giving the finger to players.

7 strikes are being removed and only 2 are being added. One of which is old content from D1.

2 gambit maps are being removed, the only good ones imo, but oh well.
{Note: As we perform maintenance on the activity, Gambit Prime armor perks will be deprecated.} So GP armor means nothing now.

Full TWAB is here for you to read [www.bungie.net]

Honestly, sounds like the whole "expanding world" thing just got throw out of the window. NOTHING we've done matters. Funny.

It's a disappointing start with a high road thrill, culminating back to square one with an even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ design and returning to a high ground - not THE high ground from 2015 - 2017) and back to square one yet again with more negatives than positives:

- Restocking Eververse multiple times with no loot engram unless you level up your battle pass.

- More paid event loot instead of participation loot. Dawning, FOTL, Crimson, and the infamous Guardian Games were notorious for it. Now Solstice is back at it again and it's ♥♥♥♥. Not "average", not "good", not "great". ♥♥♥♥.

- Gear sunsetting, with an eventual regerssion to it with higher caps but no infusion for the old "sunset" version.

- Removing 1/3 of the essential game and locking it for eventual "tuning" instead of focusing in QOL.

- No story.

You can expect worse decisions to come in the following months. I already dropped the towel on Season 9 and I abandoned Season 10. Season 11 went from good to bad to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tragedy in less than 2 months and I could give two tons of ♥♥♥♥♥ for all I care for the game. I can't stand playing more than an hour because the game is so dull with the grinding it's basically a chore to pop in, buy dust stuff, complete bounties, do raids, and nothing else. Story and substance are long gone and replaced with overpriced cosmetics and lootboxes (seriously, $50 for 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ornaments for Solstice? I'd rather pay $50 for a whole game and get my money's worth).

Luke Smith can choke on its own ego. For all I care, he killed the good Destiny and replaced it with something straight of the dwelling cave he's at with his WoW fanaticism.

why bother with d2 at this point, game will die with the DCV. Removing 1/2 of the game... not to mention I payed money for this content. I wish they where still with activision tbh, they where pumping quality content and now bungie is just removing all their hard work.

I feel like the game was better with activision. There is no story in D2, no content that is staying. More eververse than ever. Like look at the collections tab ffs. I have EVERYTHING Forsaken and before from eververse but barely anything after. Real shame.

I agree
Spades Aug 20, 2020 @ 7:34pm
I'm not happy that gambit prime is getting tossed out. I know not many people like it, but I do. I spent a good amount of time doing reckoning to get the collector set I wanted, BEFORE you could change the elements on armor, and now all the prime armors will be useless.

The whole game now feels incomplete. I don't feel like I'm doing more damage, I don't feel like I can do anything with power level. GMNF are a joke and are artificial difficulty which adds nothing to the game. D1 made you feel more powerful with every expansion and D2 doesn't.

Too much hand outs and a load of other things.

Most people really aren't going to care that Bungie is deleting half the game that isn't played. When Beyond Light comes out people will just consume new content and say its the greatest content in the game, get bored of it, complain about it while waiting for the new content, then just repeat over and over again, this is the way its always been.

The way of the Destiny playerbase. Just like a cycle of life.

Well, not when there are issues this bad. I've played destiny for so long and this season is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb.

The cheater problem is getting annoying too. Just played against 3 people who popped supers 1 minute in then after I bagged one (cuz he was aimbotting heavily) he popped two spec blades back to back. There is nothing to do in the game besides PvP rn and it is awful.

Oh this is just SOME of the things. The actual list is much much longer, the following list is just the locations and stuff with them going away.
Mars
  • 40 Override frequency nodes collected for the Warminded Emblem
  • Acquire Sleeper Simulant by completing the quest-line "Violent Intel"
  • Acquire Polaris Lance by completing the quest-line "Nascent Dawn"
  • Acquire and collect all of the Escalation Protocol armour and the IKELOS weapons. Note:
  • BOTH the Armour and IKELOS weapons are required for the Wayfarer title.
  • Braytech Osprey rocket launcher drops from the "Strange Terrain" Nightfall Strike Note:
This is required for Wayfarer title
  • Worm God Incantation Transmat effect drops from "Will of the Thousands" Nightfall Strike
  • Shoot all Memory Fragments scattered across Mars. 30 for Worldline Zero exotic sword and 45 for G-335 Anseris Overdrive sparrow.
  • Hit all bosses from Escalation protocol with Worldline Zero for its catalyst. Note: This will take you 5 weeks as you need to hit ALL of the separate bosses on wave 7 of Escalation Protocol
  • Don't forget to acquire the Groundswell Nullifier99 ship, Pacific Deception sparrow and Block-Z shell from Escalation protocol
  • Acquire Lumina by doing its respective quest. You will need to either do Blind well, Black Armory forges or do Escalation protocol to count for its quest and later do the Will of the Thousands and shoot 11 Crystals throughout the strike.
  • All vendor engram loot from Ana Bray won't be acquirable anymore
Mercury
  • Acquire all of the Prophecy weapons from Brother Vance. Note: This will take some time as you can only acquire 3 prophecy weapons per week
  • Acquire Sagira's Shell after acquiring every single Prophecy weapon
  • Universal Wavefunction exotic ship drops from "A Garden World" Nightfall.
  • D.F.A Handcannon drop from "Tree of Probabilities" Nightfall.

  • There are 3 emblems for each respective class upon equipping all armor pieces from Brother Vance.
Io
  • Silicon Neuroma Sniper rifle is acquired from the "Pyramidion" Nightfall

  • Duty Bound auto rifle drops from "Savathûn's Song" Nightfall Strike.
  • Acquire the Fallen Transponder to continue the quest-line for "Outbreak Perfected"
  • All vendor engram loot from Sloane won't be acquirable anymore.
  • Our Precious boi Greg is going on a vacation sadly.
Notes for Destinations
  • Currently on these 4 destinations, there are some Blue and Green rarity armor and weapons that are acquired only from the adventures on those destinations.
  • Try to also acquire Ace of Spades as you need to go on Io and Titan. Thorn heavily relies on Titan as there's a whole strike for it.
  • There are Ghost Scannables on those destinations you may like to check out if you are a completionist. Some of them may give lore.
Menagerie
  • All Menagerie loot will leave. That includes the exclusive armor from the Chalice as well as the weapons.
  • Heroic Menagerie swords will also leave as well so try to acquire them on Warlock, Titan and Hunter.
  • The exotic quest-line "A Scrap of Paper" that drops Truth can be acquired in the Menagerie. Note: I believe you need to do Menagerie the week "Arunak, Beloved by Calus" is the boss in order for the quest to drop.
  • The sparrow and ghost drop from the triumphs related to the Menagerie.
  • Our Precious Boi's brother Steve is leaving on vacation too from the Tribute hall Note: Yes. Tribute hall is leaving as well.
  • Izanagi's Burden Catalyst drops from Heroic menagerie
  • Bad Juju is tied to the Other Side mission. It's catalyst is tied behind 45 tributes placed.

  • Telesto Catalyst drops from Prestige Eater of Worlds
  • Sleeper Simulant catalyst drops from Prestige Spire of Stars
  • Don't forget to flex on others with the Luxurious emote from Spire of Stars!
Crown of Sorrows and Scourge of the Past
  • All of the weapons and armor will be vaulted. Try your best to acquire them as they may still be useful despite their sunset.
  • Tarrabah drops from the last boss of Crown of Sorrows.
  • Anarchy drops from the last chest of Scourge of the Past.
  • Fallen mods currently drop from Scourge.
  • Hive mods currently drop from either Crown or Heroic Menagerie.
  • Always on Time sparrow drops from Scourge.
Other
  • All Black Armory forge related loot will be vaulted including the Armor from forges and the Craftable weapons from the Forges.
  • This includes Jötunn and Le Monarque. They currently are quests at Ada-1.
  • Izanagi's Burden quest can be acquired by getting the Mysterious Box quest-line at the Volundr Forge. Later on during the quest you need to go into the Leviathan to kill watchers in the underbelly to acquire Watcher Lens.

Yeah, I reported them already numb-nuts.
I can still talk about it.

Edit: I have no idea how my original thread was reuploaded after the mod removed it.

Bungie actively protects cheaters in crucible. Ive had 5 different threads about the influx of cheaters across various websites and forums and each one a mod locks it out or deletes it or just says "report the cheaters" reporting does nothing ive run into players i seen in youtube videos from 1 FKING YEAR AGO made by big youtubers and i guarantee you the viewers reported them but bungie is actively protecting cheaters most likely to keep up airs about its big time comp clans that which by the way have been getting exposed for ddosing and hacking but the people are still able to play.

I regret pre-ordering after seeing this ngl and it's impossible to refund a DLC. Big rip...
lolschrauber Aug 21, 2020 @ 9:39am
pvp in this game is broken fundamentally. it makes zero difference what matchmaking system they use. its not the main problem.
