If you're talking about Forsaken or Shadowkeep, that's all staying.

If you're talking about Warmind or Curse of Osiris, no.

I have my doubts that you actually "paid money" for those DLCs, given that Warmind and Curse have been free for nearly a year and you have 68 hours in the game, 50 of which were in the last two weeks.

Most of the content they are taking away next season has been free for almost two years and the menagerie has been free for one year. If you bought into a live service game and didn't play it then that is on you.

People could have played on battle.net or on ps4 before playing on steam you know

destiny 2 was on Battle.net before this.....

Assuming this[chrisfried.github.io] is correct then they joined the game for free on battlenet and then bought Forsaken so its unlikely they "paid" for anything being removed in the first place. I'm all for opinions but don't bother defending someone who is most likely full of crap and are just upset that a game they haven't bothered playing for 2 years is getting changed around.

Getting upset because content is getting removed is understandable but claiming "I bought this thing two years ago and demand a refund" is silly, especially for a live service game.

Those 50 hours aren't even Destiny 2.

If you bothered to read the EULA before you press Play, it tells you you are paying for a licence to play this game, NOT for the content of said game. If Bungie wanted to, they could remove everything in this game, and replace it with a Pong emulation and isn't jack you can do about it.

Why should you be compensated for content/DLC that you've bought several years ago on a different launcher.
Zoomii Jul 27, 2020 @ 3:20pm
So let me get this straight, you feel that because you spent 60 bucks on a game 3 years ago that gives you the right to hold the game hostage? I swear, the logic here is genuinely stupid, especially because the content was ALREADY MADE FREE, which immediately makes any money you've spent on said content invalid. You should've been asking for a refund when they made the content free.

well except Crown of Sorrow and Scourge, both of which specifically state you can't play them without owning Forsaken, even though Menagerie and Black Armory is accesible for non-forsaken players.

Annual pass was made free with Forsaken purchase before new light.

not sure what that entails, Annual pass to my knowledge contained all four activities(Menagerie, Sorrow, Armory, Scourge), half of these can be accessed with just new light, and the other half requires Forsaken, yet all four are gonna be removed. Thus I'd say, that not all of Forsaken is staying.

Crown and Scourge still require Forsaken. Menagerie, Forges, Gambit Prime, Reckoning, etc. don't.

Maybe but my point is that demanding a refund for those is as silly as demanding a refund for year 1, that ship sailed when it was made free.

im not defending but this comment still makes no sense so since i came from Battle.net i got it for free
So when destiny 2 released on battle.net and the dlc released i got it for free?

so the like 300$+ pretty sure i got the deluxe of each dlc/expansion was free :o?

i mean i could care less if content is removed but dont think everyone got it for free
and beside we dont own the game we just have a license to play the game so not like what we want matters that much
