No. Still one of the best weapons in the game for insta damage

It's no longer a great DPS weapon, but it packs one of the biggest punches for single-shot damage - which means it still rules for certain things, such as dumping Champions / mini-bosses.

Incorrect, paired with wendigo it does higher DPS than xenophage

Theoretically. In practice, Xenophage is idiot proof and just involves not missing the target. Izanagis still requires precision hits, which requires more effort.

2 Izanagi with catalyst and someone running Divinity is practically blueberry proof and still going to obliterate champions in strikes and that's not going to change until exotics get sunset.

The only thing is that the crit damage and reload nerf made it take a hit in terms of raid boss dps which is where things like Xenophage and Anarchy step up now.

Cant really call it blueberry proof since blueberries wont be able to get those without getting heavily carried.

But yeah thats how I got through GM nightfalls last season.

Just saying, if I can land Izanagi shots then anyone should be able to, especially with divinity turning it into big head mode.

If you can manage to use lfg and complete an easy dungeon then you can go through higher tier content using Izanagi's Burden and look like you know what you're doing.

Still a great dps weapon, just no longer the best. While it's lower dps than xeno, it's usually not so drastic that it actually changes the number of phases a boss takes.
