Momentum control has no radar right?
Then how did a hunter on enemy team instantly know we were behind him or shooting at him from a distance?

He most likely had good situational awareness, pretty normal in good fps players. Was he cheating? maybe. but without video of it then i lean towards skill.

what the gentleman above said.
additionally, there are exotics that may help indicating where other players are AND the fact that non-lethal hits give the victim the direction which they're coming from

most probably for the middle tree nightstalker.

is has a perk: if you crouch and kill someone, you adquire wallhacks for 3 secs

that would make sense because as soon as you came up on him he instantly turned and killed you

There's also Foetracer. If a Hunter looks at you for a few seconds, they get a marker that follows you through walls.

Foetracer is pretty good, but in my experience with it the mark is unreliable. Sometimes it drops the moment you stop tracking the target and sometimes it sticks for 10 seconds or more even when your back is turned. Yaknow OP he might have stuck you with a foetracer mark and got lucky a couple times on its duration.

just downer to the pc pvp version tons of cheaters and very hard to tell because they can toggle

don't forget that you are also pitted against p2p connection which makes the server read whacky things. we can't do anything about that cause it's a part of the experience.

yeah that will be the reason this game will never succeed to be a dominating pvp game :(

a reason. There's a list of reasons why this game will never be a good pvp shooter. It even sucks in PVE, because most of the times your enemies just teleport. It is arguable even for the ones that have ability to do that and even more frustrating when any enemy does it. Your enemy jumps down, uhh, never mind, he's still up there shooting you and going ba... wait, no, he's actually in front of you stomping you to the death.

What's the point of making good servers if the game is imbalanced? You want to play with a scout? no, scouts are dead. Maybe traces? No, again. 180 rev? Bruh. Etc etc. Instead of balancing old guns, they're constantly buffing the new ones (not like that is intentional, more weird and UNTESTED code). Instead of balancing classes, they give tanky, faster than agile hunters titans onehit melee and way too mobile ultimates. What about hunters? Maybe my tether wouldn't at least sometimes miss the target standing right in front of me? He steps to the side, my tether is wasted if he has some wall near him (or if he's a warlock, because one dash is already enough to get away;-;=_=-;-;). Why warlocks have HUGE aim assist for their fire sword and I can't hit my target if he's moving (not even sprinting)? I have huge probability of dying even if my enemy ultied a mile away from me, even if I throw a tether at the floor right beside me, even if he has melee super. Just because my tether takes about 3 seconds to tether an enemy that is rushing to me with a speed of a racing car. Balanced, ye, whatever you say.
Again, a whole list of reasons for this game not to be anything close to a good pvp shooter. For now you can add worst ranking system with the worst reward system for the matches that give both looser and the winner almost equal prize which results in lack of competition

yeah sad truth :( that's the part that never made sense about the game. I don't get why it can't just get rid of aim assist and have the shooting come down to actual skill.
