Sluggish gameplay....

After starting the new season I feel like all of my movement as a Warlock is drastically slow and sluggish. Running feels blocky and I don't feel as agile etc.
I am using a controller to play and I know there was an update to modify controllers more etc.
Is anybody else having this issue or noticed it?

It isn't down to my PC as I have a high end set up. Only background software I have open is Discord and NZXT Cam.

Yeah, running now feels like dragging my feet through mud.
(Playing mainly on console with a Titan.)

Well you see, they vaulted the fast paced gameplay because it was getting old and they wanted to make room for new mechanics.

It genuinely isn't. Up until this update there were no issues with sprinting whatsoever. I have been playing with controller since Battlenet days and this is the first time I have encountered such sluggish movement.

TL;DR - controller controls changed and now "feel" off.

I mean, you did start the thread with "this season feels sluggish" and I gave the reason you're probably trying to sprint on a controller which had changed this season. I didn't look into it much before I just saw all the day 1 reddit threads about sprint being broken so I relayed that here.
