mouse and keyboard >controller
Btw you are aiming down sights right?
Welch is right HC and snipes are fairly poor with controller, but some combos are OK.
Just very tough as an average mouse player will nai even a decent controlelr player most times I think
Always better to warm up first as if you don't you'll only make your experience worse.
While it might lower your awareness i'd also suggest putting some music on at a low/med volume as to avoid tilting.
Also take breaks to goto the tower and pick up bounties from time to time to avoid tilting.
The worst thing you can do is keep playing if you're struggling, take some time to assess what's actually going wrong with you playing crucible as it might not just be your aim.
Weapons have a strong influence alongside reaction times on your abilities to perform, using a bad weapon will always make your experience worse. ((Do some research into how perks effect aim and other weapon stats))
As for toxicity, just laugh it off. It can be tough to do so but better to take it as a challenge than a reason to tilt.
Finally, compare your current aim setup to that of streamers and other players as you may find that someone else's setup works best for you.
- Best of luck

It's reached a point where I wish Bungie would be honest and put a warning up on crucible when you play saying "Warning! this game mode is for hackers join at your own risk"
