Can't get necklace scraps... too many people always going after the same nightmare
I bring them down to the point where I can punch them... and somebody always steals the kills.

Is there any reliable and reasonably fast location where I can find nightmares to farm and get this extraordinarily lame quest over?

Use lost sectors and a good melee ability like throwing knife or shoulder charge.

I thought it was solar melee, either way if you're a titan then it should be super easy. Slap on some melee mods, go into a lost sector, and shoulder charge those nightmares in the face after weakening them.
