Problem: Cayde-6 didn't die anywhere near or in the Infinite Forest. Saint-14 only could be saved because of where he had died. Plus, the Sundial was attuned specifically to bring him and we can only imagine how long Osiris has been working on it for.

I love Nolan North but he's no Cayde-6. Now if they broke the laws of the Traveler to transmat Nathan Drake into The Last City to noodle-whip Uldren, my headcanon would be okay with that.

Again, that is not how guardians work. That is a new guardian with a new identity. Yes a guardian can choose to adopt their old identity if they choose (and learn about it in the first place), but its not fair to pass judgement on this new guardian since you've already killed Uldren and got vengeance.
