what is LFG? and do you mean hopping?
Occasionally, when my connection is a bit scrappy, it will take a while to load in which is enough time for someone not slow to already clear most of it.
Or, being a speedy speed boy that doesn't like to waste time, you will load in and immediately rocket towards the objective, because you know what it is and don't need Zavala to tell you for the 500th time, just to realize that the strike in question hasn't even really started because someone is still loading.
also how do i know the difference between a raid/HLA and any other level? also what is the campaign of D2??? the "main" just says to reach another power level.
Granted it's not a guarantee that it'll work, and lots don't speak English (or don't care either way) but for some (such as myself) it's a reminder that not everyone is on content blitzing auto-pilot. And if someone's an ass about it ditch out and queue up again.
Though Bungie desperately needs to figure out a solution for this. Specific queues for specific playstyles (or automated skill/speed matching) is in dire need to keep new players and veterans alike from losing their minds.
One thing is, most people don't pay attention to the text chat and I personally haven't seen anyone using their mic yet in my 249 hours of playtime and yes I do have voice chat enabled.
I rather prefer to manually choice If I want to be quered with people taking their time and with people just rushing through the activity.
And yes, I'd prefer manual choices as well in terms of queues since I wouldn't always want to play at whatever arbitrary automated tier I was placed at.
You can do the legacy campaigns entirely solo. Also, planet and certain vendor (not strictly PVP based) bounties, lost sectors, patrols, treasure chests (from completing Werner 99-40's bounties), (some of) the current Obelisk stuff, the current baking/delivering cookies (excellent XP and bright dust farming) and even public events. Plenty of stuff you can do on your own and where matchmaking isn't involved.
And you can always make a fireteam with friends. When you all have mics, you can coordinate better. (Like communicating who needs to complete what bounties so others can stand back or help).
