But nobody in tower had idea to do the same for cayde 6 ?
i want cayde 6 back, and please kill saints 14 i hate him.
Saint 14 is a kill stealer, he come with a cheated super, and do the boss kill at your place.
10€ is too much for not been able to do the kill ourself, :( [spoiler/]
Did you not pay attention to the story at all? Osiris built a specific machine to manipulate a specific maze of fluid time and reality and we used that machine to go to a specific spot in said maze using an anchor and essentially fished Saint-14 out. How is that in any way similar to using time travel to go back and save Cayde? Us saving Saint didn't seem to have any impact on our timeline considering that he was still "lost" in the forest until our present so nothing affected the past from the point where he was removed from the world in our timeline. I'd rather not go down the paradoxical mess that would happen if we were to save Cayde that would lead to anything since Forsaken to not have happened.
Enough with boring over-the-top serious characters that this game plague with.
This. The writers do not seem really great at creating drama, so they could at least inject more comedy into the game.
Op : the way he went down made me sad. I wish I had been able to spend more time with him. PC player so I don't know him from D1. The Ace of Spades quest's final mission was the kind of goodbye that was missing from the main quest, although I didn't get all the references.
Saints 14 at first is ego centric, then later, he praize us as if we was him master.
I want to say to saint 14: begin to think by yourself, we are guardians, but even if you find someone is an exemple, you are not right, to praise him as a god.
In France we have macron, we had in tv, women who fall in love from this youngster politician,
People trusted him and we had no return yet from promises, + he will destruct France if he continue like this.
Video games character need to think by themselve please :(
And Osiris, who was in torments all those years, then he say to us guardians, something like:
You dunno what i have endure, it would have been great, if you had such suffer yourself ( ok i didn't understand the story i guess).
Just to compliment you later about what you did.
For me it's a no. Big no.
I suffered a lot in life been child and teen, i almost thought about leaving planet earth.
There is no way i would tell someone: please understand and taste a bit of what i endured.
It's completely insane.
I enjoy to see childs having a good life, suffer a lot for people having bad life, or having problems in life, i would even try to endure all the suffers they got to help them not suffer more, but it's not a possibility, as i must keep energy for myself, if i wanna help others.
I'm capable to feel energy with my hands, and if my mother as headeach or anything that give pain, to reduce pain with energy from the universei transmit through me.
it even worked with a pictures of her.
She was complaining at home, i didn't tell her i was using my hands over a pictures, i asked her if she was ok, then she sayd:
I dunno what happend, but i feel better.
Just to say Osiris is really a boring character, same as saint 14 the pet.
But it's my opinion, and i agree i'm 99% wrong, it's still what i feel about the current story path of this game
Lol true.
I'm angry against Scooter death in borderlands the pre sequel, as in Borderlands 3 i may understand, but we lack a funny guy like him.
her sister is ok, but she lack something.
She was perfect as a duo with scooter, but alone i feel lonely in game.
But i still understand the y killed this character, it should have happend one day or another, storys should not been all about pink licorns and buttefly raining from the sky, + flowers made from sugars :)
I honestly felt even. He's fun and chill, and a good lad. But as far as I'm concerned, it was the only attempt in Destiny 2 lore at making anything catchy and charismatic (the easy way, so to speak). I never gave in much into the story because it's so serious it's bland and laughable.
When Cayde died, I was just wondering what made them do that, kill the only sparkle they actually had in the franchise... and I realized it didn't matter eventually, it was all artificial anyway. Dude never quite fitted in the game as it stood.
Look at the other npcs... I mean, can you really give two sh!t what happens to them ?
Once Cayde delivered his campaigns lines, that was it.
Long gone are the days I tried to care about anything but artistic direction and gameplay in this IP.
Funny is better than boring thats for sure.
