Is there any way to get the preview Titan armor?

When you hover over the Titan in Character selection, he has a sweet business and is wearing some nice armor.

Is it in game? If so, how do you get it?

All of the armour sets you see the class' wearing on the class select screen are gone, sadly. Before New Light, they were the armour you would wear for the opening campaign mission (Ghaul's assault on the Last City, ending with you being cut off from the Traveller and then kicked off Ghaul's ship) and then you would have a broken version of the set until you started on the mission to reclaim your Light (where you would start looting white and green-rarity items to replace your destroyed armour).

Back in Year 1, you could visit Ikora to replay certain story missions and earn tokens that you could turn in to her to grind out a repaired version of that armour set (I did it with my Warlock back in the day) but that got removed sometime before/around Forsaken's release. Probably why Ikora's handling the Season of the Undying stuff now - she spent a whole year having no purpose at all in the Tower (you'd see her once a week for one of your weekly rewards - which was to complete 20 bounties of any sort - and that was it).

it's those small things that just make me feel like there was little thought or effort put into the New light release.

If you completed year 1 moment of triumph gear set, I believe that was the general look of that set. It would show up in the gear section of collections if you have the set.

edit: can confirm as i have it in collections. Looks just like it. You can even change the look to the broken version of the gear if you wanted. Plus there was ornaments for it
