why doesnt anybody talk in chat?

say hi ask a question etc complete silence from local and team chats

give me a reason to. it's not necessary to chat for like 90% of the game. and if communication is needed, people meet in teamspeak-discord etc.

Chat is disabled by default, thats why. and i only go to the tower to pick up a new batch of gambit bounties.

Chat is disabled by default and most player don't know that or how to even enable it.

I don't use the in game chat due to toxicity. I know what I'm supposed to do well enough anyway and I generally play with friends via discord.

nah its not really its more of a Clique based game... I agree though its pretty S**tty bungie puts this group content in the game... gives no form of LFG or Matchmaking for some of it... then expects you to go their website and jump though all kidns of hoops to join a clan who then expects you to use a third party program.

Needless to say if this game wants to succeed on the Free market bungie has a lot of work and adaptions they need to make to the game.. but considering they just said "hey the base game and first to add ons arent sellign anymore lets just make them free" and they think that just making the game free is going make them more money... they are idiots..

Honestly i dont expect f2p to be successful partly because the game is not at all built for the market... and secondly because the game was obviously built to pander to the fanboys.

That's voice chat that's disabled, text chat is still up and people still ignore it.

Yeah its on by default, but you need to change it from the settings if you wanna join team or local chat automatically and most don't go out of their way to join it.

i havent seen any toxicity in chat. as matter as fact ive never seen anything in chat other than if i say hi or something. just complete silence

90% of the time the only reason people join team chat is the berate said "team" anyway so why bother.
