"Requires full dreambane armor set"
This has to be the most absurd thing I have ever seen in a video game. Level up, carefully select each armor piece you want to upgrade, spend weeks upgrading said armor, do final questline for DLC, Oh ..... yeah, ... you're gonna need to go ahead and craft some ♥♥♥♥ armor you'll never use in the game again to enter this single quest.... WTF is this?

Imagine being upset about one of the easiest """"grinds""""" in the game because.... actually, why are you upset? what a stupid thing to be tilted by

The whole point of the quest line to get up to that point is the collect essence and craft the armor that wards you against the nightmares. Do the quests, wear the armor, finish the campaign, never wear the armor again.

unless you're doing the triumph. but do you need the actual dreambane armour or just mods for that triumph?

the undying triumph isn't doing 10 public events in dreambane, it's doing it in seasonal gear. As in the vex offensive gear. The dream bane exists solely for the quest because without the dream bane mods that the dream bane armour grants, the hunts and things would be near impossible (at higher difficulties). Taking seasonal vex offensive gear out of the equation, the dream bane armour is the only armour that can use the mods, as far as I know.

It's called beating the story before going all in on what you assume is the final gear unlocks. Also the Dreambane armor set is one of the bests in the game given that it has a unique slot for mods that can't be put on many other sets.
if only it drops relatively higher gear stats...

It takes less than an hour, I don't quite get what you're complaining about. And why did you upgrade armour if you're not at the power cap? That's just a waste of resources.

That's what you'd assume, but it actually is the dream bane armour.

its a story mission .... in the missions BEFORE THAT you literally crafted your armor already

Simply buy it from Eris again and stop being so butthurt about your own stupidity ^^

sorry this is an old thread. I didn't start the campaign at the suggested level, I was over 800. does this mean I can't finish it?

Nah, you can finish it. The suggested level is basically just the minimum power level you should be by the time you attempt it.

For example, if an activity has a power level suggestion of 800, and you're 750, you're going to be underleveled, dealing less damage and receiving more. If you enter that same activity when you reach power level 800, it'll be just like you're playing the game normally. Approach that activity when your power level is, say, 900, it'll still be like you're power level 800.

TL;DR: That's just the minimum recommendation and being much higher than it doesn't matter.
