Not really, but there are other shotguns that can run the perk now.

It's good but not near what it was; Ikelos is kind of outclased in stats nowadays, combine that with the fact that it takes an energy slot away from a solid smg or shotgun. Trench barrel is still solid though.

1-2 punch buids all got nerfed...the shotty from menagerie can roll trench barrel and swashbuckler (separate rolls obviously) which are both still decent post nerf

depends on your playstyle...i'd say swashbuckler for add clearing and majors, and trench barrel, even though nerfed to 3 shots, still does decent boss dmg. Up to u

It still does around the same damage if you use the artifact mod that increases melee damage along with liar's handshake. It's gonna be kinda sad when that mod goes away, though.
