Stuck on 43 out of 45 memory fragments on Mars

There's a collection where a player must find and shoot 45 memory fragments, once do so the players is rewarded with fancy items. I've found and shot all 45 fragments however the game only tracked 43 out of the 45 I found and shot.

I've double checked and triple checked, I even called in a friend and followed him as he found each of the fragments in the hope that I will see which two I have missed however I hadn't missed a single one. And just because this game hates me, it worked fine for my friend and now he rubs it in my face.

I searched up a tracker which when logged in tracks where the fragments are and whether or not you had shot it. I counted each one and the tracker was sure that I had found and destroyed all 45 fragments.

I'm fresh out of ideas and I really badly want that pod racer of a sparrow. I open to suggestions

I tried going to the cache that contains the pod racer thinking that it might just be the mission tracking that might be glitched but it says I need 45 fragments

I got the sword though so that's okay I guess but still, you can understand my frustration.

It sounds like you went above and beyond, and sadly its most likely a bug. Your best bet is to get in contact with Destiny support and inform them.

Can you abandon and restart? Also tried on a different character?

I'm not sure if i can abandon that collection since it's a triumph and not a quest. As for the new character solution, would I be able use the reward from completing it with my main character?

I highly doubt it helps. This triumph is tracked for your account, not for your character. I've did it on my main character, and both my alts see the same 45/45 on the Mars map.

And yes, you are able to use this sparrow on any character. Most of the items in this game are transferrable. Put it in your bank and then take it with another character. Your bank is shared.

You can also use the official Destiny Companion mobile app or some unofficial apps/websites to move items around. My favorite is destinyitemmanager.com

Did you go to triumphs and see if it's green and click on it?

I checked the triumph that tracks the fragment progress, it reads 43 out 45, I clicked on it and it still read 43. I'm in the process of using a self clicking program I used for cookie clicker, fingers crossed it'll fix itself with 20 clicks a second.
