Knights of the Chalice 2 looks bad
I do not like how the characters look if that is your upcoming sequel I would much prefer the layout of how you see your characters in the first game ... Just thought I'd give my feedback the other new way looks weird and I would not buy that game most likely but this game at some point I will most likely.

Knights of the Chalice 2 looks like a mini card rpg game which I do not like card games at all I think this is a wrong move on their part. The First Knights of Chalice looks like a great game will have to play it sometime when a sale comes.

I think I read something about that on his youtube video about the game that is good to know because as of now I'd never pick that game up in its current state but first would need to eventually dive into this game the first game first.

I played Darksun SSI along time ago but never could finish it because it had some game breaking bugs. I always liked that Arch enemy the Lord warrior 2nd in command as I actually used that handle in a game called Asherons Call a massive rpg online game and ran a pretty big guild under that Characters name the Lord Warrior and our guild was feared a lot as we would pvp and attack all the newbies and veterans alike in big guild wars...

Maybe one of these days I'll have to try that game again but its really old now and there are so many things to play and not enough time for all of these games but a handful at a time.

Yes, there shall be sprites! Though not in the exact same style as in KotC 1, and not immediately at the end of the Kickstarter, as it will take time to implement them.

Yes, the Lord Warrior was the main antagonist in Dark Sun 2 Wake of the Ravager.

Here's what the Dark Sun 2 Hint Book has to say about the Lord Warrior:

'The Lord Warrior is a male kaisharga. In life, the Lord Warrior was a 15th-level templar, 20th-level defiler. The Lord Warrior came to the Temple of the Cosmos in order to complete his plan to awaken the Tarrasque as a means of escaping the Dragon of Ur Draxa and establishing himself as an equally powerful force on Athas. The party wants to be careful when attacking the Lord Warrior since he has cast Fire Shield on himself.'

When you do your kickstarter, make sure to at least show off an example so people know you are doing them. Otherwise it might turn people off from the game.

I love the graphics. Easy to mod and finally, cause we don't need animations, grapple in a d&d like game.

Chalice 2 looks a lot better in motion, though.

Anyway, don't let the naysayers get the upperhand and begin the kickstarter already, please.

The Tokens are fine. What will matter is:

FX
voices
Atmosphere
Are the swords clashing, spells exploding, characters making noise with their feet as they walk.
do they whisper when they are sneaking?

All these things will make it all come alive and tokens or sprites will not matter.

Watch the trailer it sounds like it's coming together.

I disagree, the tokens were not a good decision, especially when its such a massive shift from the first chalice graphics. I think it is the right call to add sprites.

I really loved that Lord Warrior, I loved the many cut scenes that happened as you went off to adventure I think more rpgs should do things like that as your adventuring your hearing about things from your arch enemies as they do things within the game as you are doing things yourself. That game is very memorable I will probably have to play it again sometime...

I am looking forward to getting Knights of Chalice soon I did hear your going to do a sale at Christmas well you could get a lot of sales right now if you decide to start a sale and I'd pick it up immediately but it's up to you. I noticed the price is cheaper on your website but i'd rather buy a steam version instead.

I just checked it out, yeah that is surprising to look at, does have the mobile vibe, but one thing I know is that it will be a lot deeper than the mobile games I've seen like that. They are just stupid basic.

KotC 2 supports both tokens and animated sprites. I made the first adventure module, KotC 2: Augury of Chaos, with flat tokens. Then I added the option to display characters using sprites, and I imported the KotC 1 sprites into KotC 2. We'll get nicer high-resolution sprites after the Kickstarter. Players will be able to choose between sprites and tokens.

To me look means nothing, if gameplay is good, who cares about what way characters will look. Not me for sure.
