Arma 3
Reshade mod and ArmA 3...
Sooo, Reshade, ive used it on Mechwarrior 5, Heliborne, Division 1, American Truck Sim, so I know how to install it, its pretty simple. However, I cant figure out how to make it work with ArmA 3. The preset im using in other games makes the game much more clear and crisp, making it alot easier to see things overall. ArmA 3, I struggle to see the enemies, since this game looks so hazy and blurry at any kind of distance. Pair it along side the brush, bleed effects and the fact the AI usually down me upon being seen, makes it hard to learn where enemies are. Soooo, how do I make Reshade work with ArmA3?

I'm not sure about real shade what you describe isn't the Arma 3 graphics I get. You might try the Real mod.

ReShade is not a mod and therefore, I don't believe it is compatible with the Arma 3 coding. There are mods to reduce haze, and you can increase the visual distance in the graphic setting. The Real Engine mod, will increase the clarity as well. Sorry if you don't read the post for anything but a direct answer to your question. Good luck with your issues.

Is Real Engine a client side mod? I play with a unit who has thier own mod set. Im not totally sure what mods are considered client side or server side. I would definitely use reduced haze mod if it wont mess with the server mod list.

I use it and play both single player and multiplayer. I downloaded the ReShade program and after installing it I activated it in the Arma 3 64bit exe. I am not sure if it is working, but I used the DX9c shaders as I wasn't sure if Arma 3 supports anything above DX9c. Didn't seem to wreck my game either.

I picked the 10/11/12 setting taht I picked for the other games. It installs and then dxgi.dll kills it.
