Windows voice source stuff, which VAC uses, will become better over time with more use. However its always wise to check the feedback on your mic via Audio devices and Recording options so you can hear what the computer hears. Just in case its not being scrambled to some extent. Using headphones is also smart so voices coming from your speaker isnt triggering or interfering with your voice commands.
There are two ways I would recommend training and checking that things work.
A) Open a empty .txt file or something and make sure the | is blinking. Then use voice commands you known. Like "Red Return to formation" = 9-9-1-1-1 and check if you get the correct output. If you dont...
B) Open VACbuilder and press the Test and then Start button. Have the profile, green O, off while doing this btw... And just use voice commands in the list. This is also a good place to "train" both yourself and the Windows voice parts for the right thing.
Secondly its important that VAC or other have admin access when running. Otherwise they will not have Windows access to push keys when other programs have focus. Aka your game when you are playing. Right click run as admin on VACsystem.exe (not the same as VACbuilder.exe)
