Arma 3
Am I missing something for Arma 3 to run?
My PC (from what I could understand) meets the system requirements for Arma 3, and yet, every time I start it up, it crashes on me, like, it goes full screen black, as if it were starting, and then the window closes. Arma is still running, but it doesnt show up in the tab, so I have to open task manager to close it, it says that my display driver crashed, I don'n really klnow why though, here are my system details:
OS: Windows 7 (64x)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU@ 3.30 GHz x4 (its a quad core)
RAM:4,00 GB
Display Adapters: Intel(R) HD Graphics (It doesnt telll me anything more about this, I have a feeling this might be the source of the problem
This is where i feel most of the problems are, I have tried installing DirectX (no idea what i was doing) after trying to start it with no avail... nSo, if anyone knows what is wrong, please tell me, thank you.

Could really do with knowing what exactly that graphics adapter is, the "HD Graphics" thing doesn't give enough info unfortunately. But in the meantime, it would be worth you trying to make sure you have the latest drivers for it. Try doing Start -> Control Panel -> System Security -> And then do a Windows Update. Tell it to search for new updates and install any of the essential ones. But then after that, click on Optional Updates and hopefully there might be one in there for your graphics chip.

Hope that helps.

How exactly do you find out more info on the drivers? if i can figure out what it is, i might be able to help figure out a solution

Well try the Windows Update first if you haven't already because that might tell you what it is, and also give you the correct driver for it too.

But if not, there are things you can download that can identify your hardware. This is perhaps the best one you can get and it's free:

Your HD graphics can't play most games...

Click Control Panel then choose Hardware and Sound. In the next window, at the top where is reads Devices and Printers choose Device Manager. Another window will pop up and from there click on the little dropdown arrow to the left of Display Adapters. That will tell you what card you have but it looks like, as the others said, you have onboard video. Sorry but if it's possible for you to upgrade that is what you need to do. The reason I say if it's possible is because you need to see if you have a slot that will take a video card. If you do then you're in luck, all you need to do is install the new card and disable the onboard.
