Absolutely unacceptable FPS

Having tried every "solution" to the horrible FPS issues in this game, I have decided to share my frustration with the community hub.

To cut to the point:
After 1.44 my FPS has completely deteriorated to the point where the game is unplayable.
I have a high-end rig which is running Windows 7 with all the latest drivers.

My specs:

i7 4770k- 4.2ghz HT/Unparked
Water Cooling
16Gb Corsair Dominator Platinum
R9280X DCUII - Overclocked
G87-G45 Gaming Board
WD Black HDD

Needless to say, the performance I have been getting as of recently is absolutely unacceptable for this rig. I have tried everything from startup launch options to reseating my card on different PCI slots. My computer can max out games like DayZ, GTA V, DCS, and more.

The FPS I am getting ranges from 1 to around 25 with all settings at NORMAL or LESS!
I am running without addons on vanilla private servers and single player games.

This is absolutely unacceptable, and something must be done to fix this.
If my rig can't play this game confortably, I don't see how medium or low tier rigs can AT ALL.

no idea why people have this problem....
mines a little bit weaker and runs at 65 fps online

Also, your little list is a waste of time. Each and every computer and setup is unique and the objective of reaching out to a community for help is to seek people with experience with your/similar hardware.

20-40 FPS in public 40-60 private/singleplayer
Since you say you have tried all of the usual fixes I assume you already changed the max memory usage in launch parameters. That was all I had to do to get things working

20-45 fps online 50-60 private

No problem here.

I suggest try priorize the STEAM and ARMA 3 process in the task manager.

It's your pc if you are getting that low of fps. i5-3570k@4.2,280x and 7970 xfire and 8gb ram in Eyefinity 25-40fps in co-op missions

My friend just got a 5000 euro pc with the best cpu and gpu on the market and he tested his arma 3 on a tactical server called Jsoc and got 25 fps.. its this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games online system thats broken.

Has to be the AMD GPU, can't think of any other part of your hardware that could cause this.
ArmA 3 isn't exactly friendly to some AMD users.

This is an issue with all ARMA games, and the answer is do NOT reduce graphics settings. The game dumps the task of processing graphics onto the CPU when you do this and doesn't use the GPU at all. With your rig, run on max, nothing less. If you want to help your frame rate, reduce the draw distance. It will help some. ARMA is not very well optimized, it doesn't even use all of the CPU, but completely overuses what little it allocates for itself.

Oh, and never expect to get 60 frames, ever. I don't even think the Large Pixel Collider managed that.

Very well actually, as you can see there are people who like to provide genuine input rather than copy+pasting passive-aggressive lists. But if you're also too ignorant to notice that don't worry too much.
