What I did that let me get to the survivors without being spotted was when the mine explodes, turn hard right, head up the hill and keep on the "right" side of the hill, if you go on the left side you are likely to run into trouble, dont crest the hill or they might spot you too... Then just follow the hill, still keeping on the right side to where the survivors are.

See the rocks on the right? if you go roughly on the right side of those up the hill and keep on that right side of the hill you "should" be ok.
If you keep watching this you probably see what happens if you go on the "left" side of the hill.
Another tip wich goes for most missions and multiplayer too, if you double tap left ctrl key(I think that is the standard keybind) you will lower your weapon, moving around with your weapon down drains a lot LESS stamina so you can walk longer and have better aim.
Think like a human instead of a human controlling a video game - be patient, hide, creep, be patient, creep some more...
You're surrounded by enemies, on your own. Don't shoot at enemies that aren't shooting at you - find another way around. If that way is blocked, try another.
Patience is key.
