Make sure you do it on google chrome.
Shutup you imbecile. Work shop mods are a pain in the *** to delete. Do not judge because you don't realize this flaw. I'm having the same problems. Do not criticize the man because what you said DID NOT help.
Lucifer, what if we just want to unsubscribe from a specific mod?
The launcher menu allows you to start your game without any mods and (optional) DLC. Done.
For OP or anybody else who landed here looking for the solution.
1) right click on your ARMA 3 in your list on steam and right click it (the side bar list) and choose Manage > Add Desktop shortcut
2) right click the shortcut and choose properties whereby you will see the ID of the game (steam://rungameid/107410)
take a note of the 107410
3) Go to the steam folder where you have the game installed and proceed to steamapps > workshop > content and now you will see a list of folders which are all number ID's, find the 107410 (assuming all ARMA3 steam ID's are the same, if not use the ID you made a note of.
4) So now you are in the games workshop folder (steamapps > workshop > content > 107410) you will now see another bunch of folders, these are all the mod folders, if you have unsubbed from all because you want to return to vanilla then you can just delete all these folders otherwise you will have to find which folder is the specific mod you want to delete.
For this you will have to enter the folders one by one looking for clues, there are some that kindly include a read me file so that makes life a little easier otherwise you will have to look for other clues like the names of the files.
If you are unsure you can always just drag the folder to somewhere safe and test the game to ensure the mod is completely gone, if its the wrong folder you took out just pop it back, if it was indeed the offending mod then you can just delete the folder you put aside.
5) finally it may be worth verifying the game files just to ensure all is well with the vanilla files.
Hope this helps.
PS: this method can work with any Steam game.
Thanks brother, this really helped!
