I'm loving Prairie Fire. Any of the Cold War dlcs still active? A WW2 and Korea dlc would be great. I'm a console dude playing on Ge Force Now and the "mods" are a bit too complicated to understand.

Yes all of them, but "Prairie Fire" and "Apex Protocol" and a few others are designed for co-op/multi, they can be played single player.

For you new guys this is a list of campaigns release by BI as core, dlc, cdlc single player campaigns over all Arma games (the mods are community made to add them to A3)

There are WW2 and Korean war mods in campaigns in the workshop. They are player made and I can not speak for the quality of all of them all, I am sure some of them are great, as A3 has an awesome mod community.

Modding a steam game with workshop content is very easy with steam. All you need do is click the green "subscribe" button, and subscribe to any mods that it says are required. When you start A3 in the launcher go to the MODS tab, select the mod and required mods, launch the game. There might be a guide that explains this better I will look for one to post here. But in the meantime enjoy Prairie Fire.

How to install mods(WorkShop)
This is the easiest.
Step 1:Go to Arma 3 WorkShop on steam
Step 2:Subscribe to the mod(s) you want
Step 3:Go to Arma 3 Launcher and check the mod(s) you want to use
Step 4:Have Fun!

Also note when looking for campaigns/scenarios mods, many may be best or designed for co-op/multi, so you may want to look for a server that is hosting it. I really enjoy playing the single player BI and community content, but Arma is at its best when played with friends and multiplayer.

Wow, what an informative helpful post. Take an award and thanks a million. The Arma 3 community really is right on. The Prairie Fire fellas are tops. Ge Force Now is the best thing that ever happened to me for gaming. And on an Xbox lol.
