Zeus - Can't see Player icons.
Zeus Question.

When i load up my Zeus server, and my friends join, i do not see their icons on the map or in game. In addition to this i cannot group units to them(presumably because i cannot select them.

Is there anyway i can solve this? I placed down the playable characters in editor, not in Zeus. Could this be the problem? or do i maybe have to add editable objects/area module, with some script, or something like that?

Would my players need to be in separate parties, also, for me to group units to each of them?

2 possible things could fix this.

1) Use the "Update editable objects" option in the Zeus menu under Modules--->Update Editable Objects

2) Under Difficulty you can used "Extended Map Content" Which shows the players little Blue Dot On the map. Found under Options--->Game--->Difficulty--->Extended Map Content--->Friendly Then check the little Box.

Hope it helped. Shoot me a message if it didnt.

Adding editable objects worked. thanks. was trying to do it in the editor so i didn't have to do it in zeus all the time. This will do though. thanks.

This is a necropost, but I have a solution in the Editor.

1. Go to Attributes
2. Go to General
3. Scroll down to Misc. (Where you change the Independent allegiance)
4. Click 'Editable Objects (Zeus)'
5. Save.

It should automatically do it in that Scenario from then on. Sorry this is late, but I hope it helps anyone else who stumbles across it!

Necroposting to a necropost but for some reason I cant find that in the Eden editor. Might be because I tried it on the singleplayer version of the Editor though.

They might have used the 3den Editor Enhanced mode.
