VCOM AI
I have the problem with the VCOM AI, if i creat a scenario by editor with the goal that the AI protects an area/city, they allways leave their positions, when outside from this area the battle starts. How can i fix this with the VCOM AI? I used the commands/scripts to disable that they follow the call for backup from other groups, didn't help.
Does any one know how to handle the VCOM AI, that they stay in a location to defend? (waypoints like hold/guard didn't work).

i know a lot of people have ahad the same problem when runnign this on exile gamemode, but as far as i could find there was no fix found on the exile forums.

Hopefully someone might know so i'll keep an eye on this thread:cozypoechris:

can you create a zone, and define it as the mission area?

Not sure if this is connected, With DMS mission system it has a max distance from mission setting, i have i set to 500m, but with Vcom they sometimes ignore that and come and flank you quite far out lol

Are you wanting the enemy to be static? if so perhaps using Zues at the start and disabling that function will help, use Achilles and the abilities module will give that result.

I would like that the AI stays in a zone, but not complet lose their mobility/get static. With Vanilla or ASR AI it's not a problem, but with VCOM it's impossible to keep them in a define zone.

^ very good point also perhaps there support range? i believe they radio eachother for support given time? in the addon settings. :)

This also doesn't work, also if you disable complet the Radio communication. At the moment the VCOM AI realize, that is somewhere a battel, they will leave their waypoints/positions to joyn/fight with in this battle.

I reported it to the guys who are modding this mod. They replied me and they found the problem. They will correct this by the next update. So i guess this problem will be solved, which makes me very happy :steamhappy:

Change the amount of mags before the ai looks for ammo to two, I had this same issue and that fixed it for me
