Arma 3
Corrupted Mods
Hey, i just launched ArmA 3 today and all my mods are corrupted (mostly the ones that are loaded). I searched on the internet, deleted Steam.json from the %localappdata%\Arma 3 Launcher folder but now all my mods are uninstalled? workshop/content/107410 has 80GB+ of mods inside it. I literally downloaded all those mods yesterday, and now they are corrupted/uninstalled.

It's Valve. Might as well get fixed next week. Or month.

All my mods got marked as broken too, fantastic. And then I cant stop downloading mods after I kept the mods for a specific group and keeps kicking me because stealing my net, fantastic way to go steam, and which moron DESIGNED the launcher of ArmA's mod section where there is no pause download button?

You can pause downloading through Steam. Just find "ArmA 3 - Workshop Content" in the Downloads section and pause it.

I think that we will have to download some mods again, because i just tried going into offline mode with steam, and then launch arma 3 just to check the status of the mods in the launcher and a lot of them seem corrupted. You can try to see if you have different results

Unless steam finds a way to fix corrupted files or something

Don't. Just wait for Steam to fix their mess.

Redownloading is the dumb version of repairing. Unfortuantely the corrupted files have 0kb file size in explorer so it looks like we have to download again. A few month ago I had a similar issue when I had to download the game and all mods again in the end. I still have 133 GB of Data in my !Workshop file and my Steam Library is 1.61TB overall and seriously hope they will sort out this killer bug for the overall concept of Steam in general and modding in Arma 3 in particular.

Yea i had the same problem some months ago, it was either something like this, or mods not able to install and redownloading themselves after i finished the first download.

They really need to step up their game, at this point i'm considering just downloading mods from 3rd party websites instead but some are only on steam sadly.

I have the same problem. What is most depressing in this situation is that Steam developers still have not given any information on the problem. No news, no apologies, nothing.

Move your steam workshop Mods to their own folder.,unsub those mods from the workshop and then delete the workshop mods from the launcher and point the launcher to the folder you have made.I did this 2 yrs ago when this same ♥♥♥♥ was happening and never had a problem since

Keep your Mods away from Steam

I wish Aussiebobby elaborated on how to do this, i guess i will just keep trying for 5 hours
