Trouble with the training mission.
I'm at the part where SSgt. Adams is giving me the locations of practice targets based on distance and compass bearing. Trouble is, I can's see the first target. I'm looking in what I think is its general direction, but even with the longer-range sight, I can't distinguish the target from its surroundings. Where is it?

iirc Adams eventually tells you the exact location (somewhat). Isn't the first target the one you just raised? So that should be easy to find, you just been there ;)

No, the first one you put up is in a different direction. That one's easy to find, and you fire at it during the part where you're teaching the AAF soldiers about the different firing stances. I'm talking about the part after that. The coordinates Adams gives you for the target I can't find is something like "bearing 220 degrees, distance 400 klicks".

Pull your compass up, that would make it easier to see in what direction it is.

I DO have the compass up, that's how I know where the general direction is. The trouble is that the distance between me and the target is large enough to make it difficult to distinguish the target from its surroundings. At that distance, everything blends together. If I try to leave my spot to get a better angle, Adams barks at me to return to my place.

Ok, it's time for me to do the tutorial again ;)

Thing is: it's been a while and I do remember having issues with finding targets myself. However, iirc Adams eventually yells where the location is (for example: "It's right next to the ....").

Alas, lessee :) First target.

Well, I was right but I do agree that it's easy to miss at first:

As you can see Adams eventually tells you where it is and you also get a marker to show you the target. Hope this can help.

Welcome to Arma ;) This is not that uncommon of what you can expect in the field.
