anyone figured out the number of reports that gets you a instant ban in this game?

problem in WoW is: A Multiboxxer with 5+ accounts can simply ban you in one click.

Hello. I can confirming to not confirming your theory. for some reports i wait here for days to 1 week + even to being reviewed. But ingame they are looking at them faster.

if you have to wait days for a ticket to be answered and people are getting banned within hours of getting unbanned

that's solid evidence there is a ban via vote system in this game

Not per vote. per levels of trust. And they have gotten tools to looking at this and proving the 1 or other thing. But it is not automated. Since a lot of spam could text up to 2 days..

New World has a TOA that everyone must agree to to play the game. I have no idea why people are so upset over being held to those expectations they agreed to when they started the game.

It's rather simple really. Don't be a jerk toward others. You won't get banned and the people you encounter in the game might actually become your friend rather than reporting you for being rude.

if its an automatic ban system people can report you and get you banned without you even doing anything wrong

i could get 20 people to go report you and say you said the N word in voice chat

there are no logs no evidence to prove your innocence you will end up banned

isn't it just a mute in wow not a ban? I was muted once in wow because i got mass-reported but never banned.

it locks you out of your whole battle.net account
you cant talk to people who have added you to their friends list
it stops you from using group finder and in game mail
you cant queue for battlegrounds or arena
you cant talk to people even if they message you first in game
if someone invites you to a raid or party that whole raid is now blocked from using group finder

you are isolated from all your friends and people you play with making it almost impossible to enjoy the game its more like torture then them trying to fix a problem

people will message you talking and there is nothing you can do to respond to them....

Yup i got that done to me in WoW before. It was because I criticized a multiboxxer using many accounts to cheese pvp. Worse of all is you can reply to chats so people think you are ignoring them.

yeah, that sounds like you are muted. cannot talk or accept messages. then it gets checked. the rest of the game is still there

Well got a GM friend that got ban, reason: "chat spam".... he never did that so obviously he was mass reported.
We think, probably by the guild unhappy he manage to claim the 1st city before them.
Nothing is done to check if the ban is real or if it's people abusing the report system...

As i'm a GM, i just avoid chat as much as i can and people write for me when it's necessary...
Something should be done to at least "protect" people in "hot spots" like GMs for example, to add a human verification for few people that can be hard focus.
