Is it worth being a glass cannon dps?

Light armor for the bonus 20% damage but im getting slaughtered by tougher enemies. Is it worth that extra 20% if im pumping my points all into strength for warhammer?

if you're melee you probably want some medium or heavy armor, light armor is better for ranged classes

I'd say do what you find fun! As long as you're not struggling in PvE solo I think your stats will be fine anyways. And in dungeons/group content you'll have a healer protecting you so long as you don't get one shot - but if you have a decent tank, that's unlikely to happen unless it's a rogue mob.

The only thing is PvP might be risky? I've noticed a lot of people are going full constitution for PvP.

Have you looked up a build or are you winging it? :O
Warhammers are really good for bruiser builds!

I think it depends in your play style. Light armour relies on you dodging attacks as yes you'll take a hell of alot of damage.

Heavy armour is more for staying in the thick of it.

I was extremely surprised when I was watching my partner play and they were soaking up so much damage in their heavy armour where as I take so much in my light.

Its just a trade off as unfortunately you can't have the best of all worlds :p

I looked up a dps guide for warhammer but it didn’t mention armor. Thinking i will try med armor and see how that goes

tbh, Light Armor with Great Axe sounds super fun.
Not sure you need a 2nd weapon even, but Warhammer / Life Staff maybe.

Ive not seen many people use a Spear, but that might be fun until Greatswords get added
