Clock blueprint parts?
I found a clock part in a chest in the crypt, and later a blueprint for a clock (which I can imagine what do do with), but the blueprint requires 3 other parts which I'm also guessing are unique. I've looked all over the map for them but haven't found them nor any hints of their whereabouts. Have I missed something?

The other three parts are in chests that are in hidden rooms. As far as I can tell, there are no hints about where any of them are, you can pretty much only find them by running around every room in the game and hugging the walls. The chests don't even count towards chest completion counts, so you can't even figure out which areas they're in by checking which ones have unopened chests.

Here's a guide that has the locations for all of them: https://infinitestart.com/2021/10/unsighted-true-end-guide/

I didn't want to resort to a guide. Are there no clues in game? That's kind of sad.

Yeah, I was disappointed with that, too - unless i missed something, there's nothing that points out the entrances to the clock pieces. I can't imagine how anyone is ever meant to find them without a guide.

I suppose someone must have, that we have a guide at all.

I've just gone and had another look at one of the entrances - screenshot - it's extremely inconspicuous. But I feel like I must be missing a trick somehow, since so much of this game is so well considered and designed, it seems strange to have the true ending be so guide dang it[tvtropes.org].

You are technically given hints throughout the game, but they're not verbally said. There are several sections where there is a thin gap through a wall that you can walk through. Did you ever notice that there isn't a shadow on the wall there? Additionally, I'd recommend searching areas you've already been, as it's likely you've already walked past them, they are hidden very well.
